Editing Cold Soldiers

After several months of production with breaks to choreograph action scenes, we’re now deep into post production for this ambitious espionage movie. We’ve started rerecording lines of dialogue, tightening up our rough cut and planning our film festival submissions.

It’s tough for me as the director/DP to cut stuff – if I had my way I’d keep everything and the film would be 15 hours long. Luckily, wiser heads are here to prevail upon me to cut it down to a less butt-numbing 90 minutes. We’re currently looking at a flashback shot on the Yorktown air craft carrier.

Casting Call

With half our movie in the can and a winter break to recharge our batteries, we're preparing to shoot the rest of Cold Soldiers. Last weekend we held a casting call in North Charleston, SC and this gave us the chance to meet new actors and get together with veteran thesps whose work we knew.

We're still looking for actors to become involved in the project, so leave us a comment if you'd like to know more.

3 weeks in

Hey everyone, thanks to everybody who has been helping with the film & putting in the long hours. We've been shooting interviews, fight scenes, Bettina kickin' guard's asses, guards trying to throw me off the fire escape, Michael and Smitty going at it, & then there's those crazy dudes with the sticks. We still need help with background people & extras so if you have any friends who would like to help out, let us know. We've got some good momentum going for the film so let's keep it up until the holiday break.
